+ 1. And keep the cardboard - some people on this forum would pay lots for that kind of interior protection! :D

Re: 10k Mile Oil Change

I am not sure about the dash-displayed service intervals. On my Sep 2015 Macan SD, I had my first 'interim' service done in Aug 17 at 2yrs/11000 miles. The in-car display now says: - (Major) Service: Aug 2021 or 40,000 miles - (Interim) Service: Aug 2019 or 20,000 miles - Oil Change: Aug 2019 (or i...

Re: Macan vs Width restriction

From the manual:

Width with wider wheel covers 75.83 in. (1,926 mm)
Width with exterior mirrors 82.60 in. (2,098 mm)

... and although I don't have it, I have heard it said that surround view could help.

Make sure you take a photo so we can have a laugh (at the car, not the fitters!) :D

No need to cover people's faces as in the German traction engine pic - that's privacy laws for you!

Re: Transfer Box Replacement

I have a similar problem on my 2014 Macan Petrol S. The car has done about 21,500 miles. It has just been taken in to the Porsche Dealer st Silverlink Newcastle for investigation. I was told that they had another one in yesterday! It seems like a common problem and I really hope that Porsche GB are...

Re: Dirty diesel, or NOT so dirty diesel

I just read exactly the same article and was about to post a link! Yes, a good read - would be interesting to repeat the test with slightly newer cars: eg My 2015 Macan SD and 2001 VW Golf Mk4 petrol.

+2 on the IPAD dash IMHO it just looks pants
+3, but then I also always said I wouldn't buy a car where the central display is angled towards the front passenger seat ;)

Re: 17 & 67 Plate Macan Oil Change Indicator

I am not sure if this includes your current engine, but you can also check oil type and recommended change interval on the Mobil oil site here: http://www.mobil1.co.uk/which-synthetic ... nding.aspx

The models that I tried showed 20,000miles/24 months consistently.
