Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS
At 9.5k miles, I accidentally filled up with BP 'upgraded' diesel (Ultimate?) the other day and I'm convinced that my car has a better low speed pick up/throttle response, but I'm not sure how much that is down to the placebo effect of me knowing I'd just shelled out an extra 10p/litre?

Be interesting to hear if this new 'oil change' request moves out towards the service date, as you pile more miles on?
Suspect it's part of the dieselgate, software tweaking? Expect your AdBlue light to come on quicker than expected as well?

SD -14 months - 9200 miles. No replacement to date, but have noticed a slight 'kick' at the rear when pulling away with lock on. May not be related?

Re: Some new diesel cars emit 11 times the legal pollution limit
It's kinda satisfying to know that the SD rates as poor. What with being ripped off by the latest VED rates on pricey motors, additional depreciation we are suffering from, due to all the hysterical coverage, Porsche dropping the model altogether, the inversion of pump prices of petrol/diesel (for t...

My Cayman was Agate, current SD is VG. I liked Agate, but it could look a bit 'brown' in some lights? Prefer VG now.

Re: Traction control fault?
Might be the start of the old dreaded 'transfer box failure'?
Mine does it, left or right lock, pulling away, wet or dry road, light or heavier throttle.
I find it a bit irritating, but I'm not due at OPC until next October, so until something worse happens, I'm putting up with it.

Re: Quickest Christophus read
I just sent my pile to the tip, along with a hundred or so EVO mags dating back to 2002 and a similar amount of motorcycle mags. Why I kept them, I haven't a clue as I never re-read any if them? Surprised the floor in the wardrobes didn't give way under the weight! How long do you keep getting Chris...

Re: Is the Sport/Chrono Option a Waste of Money? Discuss
Had it on my 981 and it encompassed active gearbox mounts which really enhanced the handling in hooligan mode, so well worthwhile. My SD was a showroom vehicle and had it fitted, but in 14 months and 9k miles, I have engaged Sp+ only twice - not much use in the diesel imvho? I like the 'carbuncle' (...
