Re: Macan Moose Test
I collected a Pheasant on my R1 in Oxfordshire at about 70, blood and feathers inside my visor etc. Was in a bit of a rush, so a few side to sides and I carried on to Alton, where my pal couldn't believe what he was seeing. The bird was behind my forks, welded to the radiator, with its head sticking...

Re: Porsche Dash Cam
Is having one ever going to save you £1,000? A pal of mine had his recently purchased Golf GTD smacked up in a crash for cash scam, in a part of Birmingham notorious for the event. It was obvious to all involved and the Police even said, if you'd had a dash cam, it more than likely wouldn't have ev...

Re: Tesla Model 3
Ms mate left her Model S on the drive once and some of the shut lines were like something akin to a 1970's Longbridge product.

Was on a motorbike mini tour of Wales last week and the second we hit English roads again at Shobdon, the difference in road surfaces was night and day, I swear half of the Welsh population work for the Highways Agency!

Re: interim service cost
I've dealt with Porsche Solihull since 2006 and in all that time, they have always provided a Porsche, mainly Boxsters but the odd Cayman and even Cayenne on 2 occasions. Be interested to see what they come up with this time and if indeed, cost savings are being made in this department?

Re: interim service cost
Just booked my 4 year, 26k miles SD service. Quoted me £1,060 reduced to £906 when I said don't worry about the AdBlue! Fixed price servicing gone by the board apparently, which is why I was expecting about £650 from memory? Also mentioned not wanting a roof drain check and they offered to quote me ...

Re: Moving from a 992C4S to a Macan Turbo
I agree, it seemed an odd omission from my dealer specced SD, especially as they had been so effective in my Cayman. However, not once have I needed them in 4 years.
