Oh and welcome :)
Well... it kind of is, it'll certainly out handle any other 'high riding' car on the planet! :D

Re: Who buys gap insurance?

Yep... simply don't buy it from the dealer selling you the car! They usually try to 'hard sell' it when you collect your new car and at an extortionate price! I've usually been quoted around £300-400 which I won't pay, but I'm sure shopping around will get a far better price! I've never taken it on ...

Re: Macan GTS first service

Some have suggested your warranty is not valid without a main dealer service! I'm sure the Government put a stop to that some years ago saying as long as it was done by a bona fide motor mechanic business, the manufacturer can't insist on you using their own service centres at their own inflated pr...

...... being hygroscopic is a physical property of the brake fluid, it is what it is a hydraulic fluid. Water in brake fluid will boil if the brakes are applied hard and then the brakes loose their effectiveness. If you are involved in an accident then it is found that you have not complied with th...

Re: I expected better - any similar poor experiences with Porsche?

After 4 weeks off road, it turns out Porsche could not fix my car as the parts do not yet exist and they have no timeframe for when they will be added to their inventory, manufactured and available. Required a ‘minor component’ to fix but it’s failure was considered ‘major’ issue. So it was just an...

Re: Rear Light Bar

Personally, i'll be waiting for the all new one in 2022. Some press reports say this is the last IC engined Macan and the next model is pure electric. I trust you are happy an electric vehicle can fulfil your needs? Not so sure about that. Unlikely to go from pure ICE to pure electric in one step. ...

Re: Rear Light Bar

Recommended (and frankly obvious) way in a Porsche, by the way, for people who haven't thought about right/wrong since they passed their test, is to stop and put the electronic parking brake on. No, it doesn't wear out the clutch. No need to put it in N. or P. Aaahh, so no need to move the lever th...
