standard brakes stop me 60mph to 0 in 3 seconds good enough for me, never noticed any fading.

can't see the point of a spare wheel, as you have foam and a compressor onboard to get you out of trouble, why carry the extra weight, unlikely it will be repaired.
you know it make sense not to.

things must be just cheaper in the south west, three quotes for new windscreen range from £800 to £850 and yes original manufacturer and calibrated.
would be worth a day trip and save £1000
