We would have told you if that was the case when you first started asking about build progress.

Re: Transfer Box Replacement

Gah, didn't want this to be my first post on the forum, but after only 8 days of Macan ownership another potential transfer box issue. Its a late 2015 Macan S, literally hit 30k miles over the weekend. Purchased from an indie dealer in late Dec 18', I actually felt something everso slightly odd pul...

Re: New Porsche Macan SD owner

I’m on 19” Michelin’s at the moment and the ride feels good. Are 20/21”s worth the investment in terms of comfort/drive feel? Welcome Freddy! Certainly not worth shelling out £ks to change to larger wheels. The ride will be firmer with more 'thump' over potholes and more road noise. Then there is t...

Re: Default start up PCM source

Just remembered that I'd covered the topic in a previous post, including the screen shots https://www.macanforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=6820&p=141739#p141739 In fact it was Nov 17 rather than last year when the fix was applied, doesn't time fly ;) I expect it's been long superceded by ...

Re: Miles from tyres

Wow, I bought mine with 17,000 miles on and all the tyres had been renewed. P-zero's all around. Summer tyres so softer compound. Don't know if that makes it ride smoother than AS shod cars. Don’t winter tyres have softer compound than summers? If so, I imagine AS tyres would also be softer compoun...

Re: Speed Limits

Reducing speed limits is almost always NOT the answer. Evidence is already emerging that the widespread 20 mph limits are not reducing injury but in some cases have actually increased. Few collisions are caused by speed alone. Virtually all are caused by driver error, and that is down to incompetenc...

Re: Hot Macan?

Wife finds the seat of the 911 quite a bit hotter than the Macan. She likes the Macan on 3 but even she can't take that in the 911 for long! I'd say the steering wheels are about the same for heating.

Re: Default start up PCM source

I’ve got a 2016 Macan GTS and on startup it switchers to the local Heart radio station. I don’t have the station saved. Any ideas on how to get it to revert to a presaved station? Ask your OPC to perform a full PCM software update for you, it should be just fine then. Let me know if you need the ve...
