Re: Polestar 2 EV

The problem with any of these EVs is that there will be a long waiting list, generally over a year. Although, the I-Pace seems to have avoided this.

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS

Now that I didn't know. I have always thought that diesel came first and petrol was a further distillate of that

Re: Windscreen cracked.

Had mine replaced by Autoglass at one of their outlets and they also re-calibrated the surround cameras as part of the work.

Good job, the chap was very knowledgable and no probs.

Re: Reverse

Amazing how they get those huge trucks into seemingly tiny spaces.

When you think how badly some people park their cars and these people are manoeuvring these large vehicles...just amazing!

Re: Porsche Macan carjacking in Glasgow !!!

 That's a long test drive.

Seriously though, how did that happen? Doors locked during driving and when parked. Sounds nasty.

Re: Stop/Start & Hold Function

Working as designed.

Strange really. Plenty of innovative applications of tech but not well explained by Porsche. There seems to be a given that learning will take place on-the-job.

Re: Service Costs

Porsche Portsmouth charged me £430 for the service. Brake fluid change was about £100. I did get a complimentary litre of oil and screen wash (or was that part of the overall price?) ;)

I was happy with their standard of service.
