Re: 2 Month Review - Guilia Quadrifoglio

Thanks for the review and the great photos Hawkeye. She is a stunner! [emoji41] We know a chap living near us who's got one and he is similarly smitten. Here is to many more miles and smiles! [emoji482] It’s hard not to be smitten by it. It has a magic recipe to get under your skin! Sent from my iP...

Thank you for sharing a great review and those photos, Hawkeye. :) Really pleasing to hear that the Alfa is giving you so much pleasure. Wishing you many more happy (and trouble-free) QF miles! 8-) Thanks Wingco. Bringing some colour to the world just like you in you’re T! Hope you’re enjoying it. ...

Re: 2 Month Review - Guilia Quadrifoglio

Great review Hawkeye and the car looks stunning. I've read the reviews and heard very good things about the car and you seem to be confirming it. Thanks Arif and hope you are still loving the GT3. I watched the Mr JWW video of his first drive as part of the Porsche 70 year celebrations up in Scotla...

Re: 2 Month Review - Guilia Quadrifoglio

Funny you should mention rare , clarkson mentioned this in his car review, in the times, this Sunday. If I don’t get on with the GTS.. I will be looking! Ps I have seen 2. Hopefully you’ll love the GTS and will not need to look elsewhere. In two months of looking hard I’ve seen 3 Giulias. One QF an...

There’s still time. Maybe if they bring out a Giulia Coupe?! You’ll struggle with Bentley interior quality vs Alfa though.

2 Month Review - Guilia Quadrifoglio

It's been a while since I have posted, but promised I would do a proper review after owning the car for sufficient time. Having owned it for two months now and having just come back from two days of driving in Wales, thought this may be a good time. For those wanting the short version, here is the c...

Re: Macan GTS - 2000 miles - Reflections

Interesting. i think you like it. Perhaps not true love though. It's a great car but it isn't special. I think if it went tomorrow, I wouldn't miss it. That’s how I felt about my Macan and in the end was the reason I got rid of it. Fortunate that you have other cars in the fleet that are special. S...

Re: Macan SD for Sale

Hawkeye, Thinking of moving my Macan SD on soonish, do you mind saying where you traded yours in as my local Porsche centre doesn't seem very interested in mine. Thanks. Sure. I traded mine to where I bought my Giulia QF, but Uber GT were excellent and offered me the same price. Also, if you phone ...

Re: Derek Bell Evening at Porsche Bolton

Derek has also been a long time Bentley brand ambassador. I worked with him a lot during my time there. He was very involved in the Le Mans race programme and also at driving events. I remember being driven by him around Bruntingthorpe in a Bentley Arnage T - what an experience! He is quite a driver...

Re: EV future and Porsche

I was literally just watching Musk on Bloomberg slamming ‘boring, bonehead analyst questions’. I have watched a few videos behind the scenes with Elon Musk recently and he definitely looks like he is a man under pressure, but he’s a tremendous visionary in so many areas in my view.
