Can recommend ALA GAP insurance, had it for all car purchases in our family over last 10-12 years as very keenly priced esp with discounts of 10-20% regularly available. My son made a claim on his policy four years ago and they paid out in full within two weeks.

You might be able to get a better price if you shop around, Reading quoted me £270 for the 111 check whereas Brooklands did it for £216.
