If it's the metal bits that you can see here then I would just push them back into place and then push the switch into the socket. Don't force anything, and if it happens a second time I would go to the dealer:

Found Macan with all 4 windows slightly open
Could be worth carrying out this procedure to reset the 'end position' in case it's related to battery voltage:

No I am not missing the point - I write software for a living and have a reasonable grasp of how much effort and testing is involved - it is highly likely the software is just a different mapping and the extra development cost over normal power steering is negligible, even for something that is safe...

Do Porsche software engineers work for free? I would expect the profit of something like PS+ to be £149 per car fitted - vat being £29,63 Depends how you define profit. Perhaps it's paying those very same SW engineers to develop the SW for your next Porsche? But clearly you are missing the point, so...

My point was a little bit lost in translation! But I am sure that Porsche made a conscious decision on the extra costs of developing the SW for PS+, and made an estimate of the number of people that would go for it, and decided that it was a worthwhile development. Or perhaps an external software ho...

I may have posted this before (or perhaps someone else did) but retrofitting cargo-management looks quite straightforward.

I also bought one of these sets just after I bought my Macan: https://www.miele.co.uk/domestic/special-attachments-and-accessory-cases-2205.htm?mat=09060330&name=SCC_10
It includes a small version of the 'Turbo Brush'. I also paid a lot less than the price listed (but that was in Germany).
