Re: Macan EV

Maybe the likes of BMW, VW etc care about the safety of their cars, hence why it takes them much longer to get a car to market, than say the Chinese, The Chinese are leading the world in EV's. All hail the Chinese. Just don't have a crash in one. It's easy to be irrationally prejudiced against the ...

Based in the UK. It was bought online through the Porsche’s website rather than directly from an OPC. Its with Porsche GB but they are proving to be useless. Anyone have experience in escalation to Porsche Germany?
Demand a full refund from Porsche GB.

Re: Macan EV

You are off the mark. Producing a new car is not a quick process! Unless corners are cut which may well be the case with cars manufactured in certain countries. Additionally there is a mass of Regulations to conform to and said Regulations are not restricted to the build country but to every Countr...

Re: Macan EV

I'd be really peed off if Porsche or any manufacturer dropped their prices after I'd just bought one of their new cars. Might not happen with Porsche, but other VAG brands are already cutting prices or offering 0% finance. In Norway (a major EV market), VW has cut the price of the ID.3 by almost 30%.

Even Tesla is struggling. Re: Macan EV

And the facts remain though. They are losing money on Polestar, and as Volvo becomes EV only, they'll lose money on them too. Polestar in trouble. GM in trouble. Ford in trouble. And how many more? And all linked by the same thing. They can't sell EV's in the quantity they need to, to make them pro...

Re: Rear washer pipe leak - modification?

So, the warning is, "Porsche will not cover under warranty" - what everyone thinks about this is their own concern - but, for me, this looks like a manufacturing / design fault. It's very obviously an engineering fault. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have a pipe joint with a lower ...

They own 50.5%.
As I understand it, the other 49.5% is owned by Volvo Cars. And Volvo Cars is owned by - you guessed it - Geely.
