Macan - Thule Bike Carrier

On my Audi, the remote boot opening (fob and inside car) were disabled when something was on the tow bar. Only the button on the boot lid would open it. I think Porsche missed that trick, I will check as I was using the button for tests. I have the factory fitted tow hitch on my Macan GTS on which ...

Ordering Etiquette

Exactly Rob. I wasn't initially looking to buy new and only did so as the waiting time was a lot less than I thought...or so I was told. I'm just annoyed with myself that I bought into the fib. Lesson learned. Either way I'm getting a Macan! I doubt you will get any better service than Tewkesbury, ...

Macan in-car tech rapidly getting more dated?

So we're all going to Audi for a Q5 because of a screen on the dash ye right! The only reason most members are on this site is the driving thrills of a Porsche not a play station screen in front of you. I'm sure in ten years time there will be plenty of loved vintage macans around still being used ...

Most expensive option??

Heavily optioned 911R just delivered in the US (where deliveries of R and GT3 RS are still going on)...check out the spec sheet...

All those options have completely ruined the design concept of the 911R, it's supposed to be a lightweight track focused car.

PDK Question

Thank you all for your responses, I am genuinely grateful.  There are too many to address everything, so I'll try and summarise. We both like the look of the Macan, but are not realistically able to do anything for around 6/8 months, but knowing the limitations, I like to do my homework.we live in ...

PDK Question

HiCurrently weighing up options for a replacement to my current car (Evoque).  Something I can't find the answer to anywhere! How do you change/select gear on the auto.  For example, when moving from P to D, does the gear selector have a button on lever on it.  Used to have a BMW that was like a ...

Fire Extinguisher Retrofit

I have the Fire Extinguisher option on my Macan GTS, it fits under the passenger seat, is very neat and does not get in the way. It can be retrofitted by the OPC but requires the seat to be removed and the bracket fitted. You have an expensive car so the negligible incremental cost of retrofitting t...

Insurance - WTF

Shopping around this year seems to be very problematic with many insurers and brokers refusing to quote - WTF is going on? Last year we had plenty of quotes and went with the best / most suitable. Now we seem to have no other option than to renew with admiral and not even a comparison quote from th...
