Bi Xenon or LED

LEDs Another thought, how is your night vision (no need to actually tell us)?Driving my SD with Xenons does give good illumination but a slight colour caste on the road ahead, well at least the Xenons in my SD did just that. They were good and a massive step up from the halogens on my Jag.My Turbo h...

Macan drivers

Performance from a pure horse power was not top of my list of wants regards selecting the MacanI value the handling, feel, engineering, design, individuality, rarity etc well before performance as we use ours predominantly to transport our young children on family trips at the weekend. I did want s...

I was quoted £70 to top up the AdBlue tank - which is why I will be buying a couple of 10L tanks to do it

Diesel - pressure grows

I don't think it would skyrocket. The cost of filling with AdBlue would fall to something sensible. It only actually costs 30p/litre so if you could fill it up like you fill the diesel tank it would be cheap.

Anyone whose thinking about having their Macan detailed should understand it's NOT maintainence free ,unless you are willing , have the time and ability to wash your Macan correctly and care for the finish then it'll be a waste of money ,had both ours detailed but I can spend upto 3 hours washing a...

Macan Diesel S 1 month review

The unfortunate reality is that for many on here (me included) spending £50-70k on a car is a huge amount of money, but to a Porsche dealer we are the cheap end of the market, although the volume of Macans they can sell makes up for the lower profit on an individual car.

Newbie with build date

Not that different to mine. The heated steering wheel seems popular on here at this time of year. I was persuaded to spec it!

I imagine LED lights will be the worst option for this since they will generate no heat. Ordinary incandescent bulbs get hot.

Don't overtake me

I am not sure that I can quite compete with that Jonttt but did have an interesting episode a couple of years ago. Some idiot was tailgating me through the village before ours (30mph zone) so when we got to the end of it, I put my foot down (not a Porsche, but fast enough in a Saab). As I got to the...
