Re: Anyone moved from Boxster 981 S to Macan S ?
We are at the start of the process of considering a move to a Macan. Our initial move was an Audi Q3 Vorsrpung which we had ordered but due to Audi's inability to supply and subsequent deletion from there configurator means we will never see it. Our current cars are Boxster 981 S and VW Tiguan 2.0T...

Re: Advice for a Newbie please
Thanks for all the advice. Just configured S as close to my base model config but without sports exhaust, chrono and std 20" alloys as opposed to 21" rs alloys and price of S is only £1000 more than 2.0 litre base so certainly given me something to think about. 1st year RFL also the same ...

Re: Second hand prices are falling
When my car is ready -hopefully Q2/22- might ask OPC if they would give me a guaranteed buy back price for car in 12 months, and if it was close/more than my car would put deposit down for 2023 model... it would be interesting to see their reaction  No harm in asking, but I’d be very surprise...

Re: Damaged alloy on Macan S
I would certainly take it to a specialist alloy wheel repairer and see if they will quote.
A repair would be a tiny fraction of the cost of a new wheel!

Re: Leather seats - conclusive answer?
If you choose 14/18 seats plus the first leather option, you appear to be paying for the leather seats twice!
Edit: or more specifically, paying for leather seat centres twice.

Re: Waste of space options...
Here’s a couple:
Loadspace Management System £228 - I spec’d this on first Macan but never really used it.
Ioniser £203 - have never spec’d this but rather doubt it “can have a noticeable positive effect on wellbeing”

Re: Air or Bose??
I would only spend money on options you definitely want for yourself - they all depreciate rapidly.
I’m doubtful you will have any issues selling a car without Bose or Air.
Your spec looks good.

Re: Porsche 8-digit PIN
I have to say I’ve long since given up on the various Porsche apps and online services. In practice I just don’t find them useful. I think Car Connect is a novelty at first but I never use it. I used to use My Porsche to set up destinations on my iPad and send to the car, but gave up for two reasons...

Re: A/C fogging up car windows?
In my new Macan the windows keep fogging up when I turn on the A/C - I havent had this in previous cars - anyone having this issue? This has come up a few times on the forum. It is best to leave the A/C in Auto mode. Try that if you are not already. But remember that if you try to adjust anything o...
