Re: Extended warranty? Porsche or AN Other.
The big even huge downside on the Porsche warranty is it ties you to Porsche servicing. So it’s not really £1400 more like double when you add in rip-off Porsche service pricing I too am wondering about third party warranties. Certainly AVOID RAC. Just look at their shocking reviews Interesting re ...

Re: Keeping for a long time - ongoing running costs
Similar fuel costs Peter. With paper depreciation, insurance and VED I reckon I am currently on £0.76 per mile. (PS for the record I am not an accountant!) My depreciation cost was the actual difference between the price I paid new and the amount I got for the car when I sold it. It worked out at 5...

I have the same problem with one of my door handles. Was going to book in into the OPC but keep forgetting to.

Thanks so much for posting the photos Mike! Unfortunately I’m not a fan of how the grey ones look in a car with the black interior

Re: 40k Service RPM Technik
Is your car under an extended warranty from Porsche? If so, you have to get it serviced at a main dealer.
RPM Technik had a fantastic reputation though, so I'd be inclined to ask them for a quote to do the brakes if you do end up using a main dealer for the service.

I'd honestly let them have it than go back to the 90s and faff about with wheel locks etc. GAP payout = new car.

Re: Polyurethane bushings
Have you got a quote from a highly regarded independent Porsche specialist? OPCs tend you bend you over big time for this type of work.

Re: Black Friday - Michelin tyres, good prices at Black Circles
Yes I am a Costco member - this was cheaper. They also only had 1 tyre available, not a lot of good unfortunately this time. Top tip, don't browse them online. Call them or go to the store. They have a lot more available than you'll see on the Web and can usually order in for next day. Oh thank you...
