Going to need a new windscreen washer pipe and new button/switch for the mirror control.
The washer pipe cracked on the Cayman last year in the same place and it was replaced under warranty so you should be ok.

Re: Porsche's Own brand Dashcam Questions

There has been a lot said about violating warranties if third party dash cams are hard wired in. Has anybody got actual evidence of this e.g. in writing from Porsche UK, rather than making their own interpretation of warranty document language?? They advised me that they wouldn't honour any warrant...

Re: Electric??

I think the irony of the fact that you accuse him of being abrasive and lacking mental capacity, whilst being fairly abrasive and lacking the mental capacity to see it, is lost on you. As I see it, he gave a differing view - being someone who had put his money where his mouth is. And he is met with...

Re: Electric??

This duel can easily be resolved with Handbags at Noon 👀 🍿 🥤 LOL  I'll have to see if my wife will lend me one of her bigger ones. To be fair Peterski probably has a lot of useful knowledge on electric vehicles that some members on here would find useful. However as others have already said hi...

Re: Electric??

I've not driven a full electric yet but did have a Panamera hybrid for a 48 hour test drive a couple of years ago and seriously considered buying one before I decided to quit work instead. The current Macan doesn't get used as much these days but its paid for and I decided to extend the warranty for...

Re: Electric??

An acquaintance of mine is a real petrol head - has had C63s, 340iT, S4, etc etc and currently has a Caterham 420. But his other car is now a Tesla Model 3 - and not even the performance version, the long range. His view after driving that for over 12 months - cant see himself going back to ICE for...

Re: Electric car (choice of)

I, like many on here have asked the memberships opinions on spec for all 3 of my Macans and have shared mine when others have asked about theirs and at no point can I remember anyone voicing an opinion so strong that others took offence. This doesn't seem to the case when talking about the rights a...

Re: Electric car (choice of)

^^^ +1. Opinions are interesting to read and reflect on but of greater interest to me is unbiased (hopefully), factual real world experience. Things like charging at home and on the road and the costs of doing so, buying and running experience, particularly how charge level and range is impacted by...

Re: Electric car (choice of)

When I was younger my dad drove automatics and having tried one myself swore I'd never have one. Then PDK came along and I thought it was that good I've not bought a manual since. When I was younger diesels were smelly, dirty and slow and I swore I'd never have one. Then a few years ago I got a cont...
