Picking up on Monday a new to me Macan S diesel. 65 reg with just 14k miles on the clock and a full 2 years Porsche approved warranty! Must admit, did a Porsche experience day in one back in 2015 and was really impressed, but as my “SUV” is also my daily, which had to do 20k miles a year, the price was too high back then, but not any more!

Traded in an Audi SQ5+ with 340bhp, so will be really interested to see how this performs.

Other cars just now are a 5.0 litre V8 Jag F type (convertible) and an Ariel Atom 3 300....so dead keen to see how the Porker fits in!

Silver Suzuki Jimny (go everywhere fun!)

Hi Northnoble,
Welcome to the forum.
I am in a similar position to you. I have an F-Type convertible and picked up my new to me 2018 S petrol yesterday.
The build quality and overall driving experience from the Porsche is outstanding, you really will enjoy the car.
Are you also on the F-Type forum?

Yes, on the Ftype Forum - same username.

Found it very useful so far, lots of helpful posts although some have a bad habit of making me spend more money!!

like wise on the rag top, must be trend. You will enjoy the macan as much as the jag just a different experience. if i drive back to back just feels like the brakes are on all the time in the macan, with the gentleman in me coming out in the macan.

Thought it was the same gasgas/gasgas1, given you have been talking about Exeter.

Welcome to the forum.

You're just as much at risk here of being encouraged to spend money as you are on the Jaguar forum. :D Of course as this is a Porsche forum the amounts will be larger   .
