Time to say hello after I collected my first Porsche this week, 19 plate Macan S. I’ve taken a lot of great info from the forum so delighted to now be a member.
I was driving a 2014 Q5 (have two young kids...) and had been looking to change for a few months. Considered a Levante, Velar, C43, F Pace, before finally settling on the Macan. I’d initially ruled it out as more than I wanted to spend, but the man maths came through strong and the numbers suddenly all worked
Love the car so far, the engine is great, much smoother ride than the Q5, and the handling is fantastic. Having a couple of issues with CarPlay connection but I’m sure that will get sorted.
Spec is:
Volcano grey with full leather, 19” wheels, Pan roof, PASM, Surroundview, heated seats, heated steering wheel (love it!), a few other bits and bobs. I might upgrade to 20” RS Spyders at some point.
