Hello all,

I have been on this forum for a few months now, and a serial 911 owner. Now, after a previous sale fell through (sale-or-return owner changed their mind - very annoying), I have finally taken delivery of a 2017 Macan GTS, in Night Blue Metallic. The spec was perfect for me, and I jumped on it as soon as I saw it listed.

Link to Cridfords here https://www.cridfords.co.uk/inventory/u ... 30-gts-pdk

Summary of the key areas of spec, which i know is all important with a Porsche - but it has plenty more!

20" RS Spyder alloys in black
air suspension with self levelling system and PASM (Porsche active suspension management)
adaptive cruise control
surround view camera with front and rear park assist
LED main headlights with Porsche dynamic lighting system plus and dynamic high beam (PDLS+)
Panoramic glass sunroof
sport Chrono package plus
Porsche entry and drive (KESSY),
heated and ventilated seats
embossed headrests front and rear
Porsche switchable sports exhaust with black tail pipe
electrically retractable tow bar
Chrono dial and instrument dials in Guards red
Current: 2017 Macan GTS
Sold: 2012 911 Carrera S PDK
Sold: 2006 911 Carrera S Manual

Lovely looking GTS 👍👍👍

Hope you don't miss your 911 - also a lovely machine. The Macan is so much more practical :D :D :D

Well specced car. Colour is a personal choice and I'm not a fan of dark blue but if it's right for you that's all that counts.

Thanks Chaps. Yea the colour sealed the deal for me, looks lovely with the black finishes.

I miss my 911 everyday, but unfortunately practicality needs to take priority

Great looking car with excellent useful spec. When I was looking 2 years ago very few for sale with my essentials of air, ACC, surround view, speed limit, LCA and 18 ways seats to which I would now add heat and ventilated seats having had then for the 1st time.

Will you be using Cridfords for service? If so interested for reports as one of the nearest independents to me if in a year's time I decide to go down the independent route rather than remain OPC plus Porsche warranty

Thanks PMG. I'll use then for warranty, for 6 months. They have an excellent reputation in the 911 world, and I am aware of them paying out for transfer box issues under warranty, should the OPC extended warranty not pay out.

I will probably put it onto the porsche warranty before the Cridfords warranty runs out.

Congratulations on acquiring your GTS.

My son has recently done a similar thing for family reasons with growing boys. Gone from a blue 2005 911 Carrera S manual to a well specced blue 2017 Macan SD.

Get a VIN data sheet from an OPC for your car and I think you will find your transfer box will have an extended warranty through to 7 years.

Nice looking GTS, the sweet spot of the Macan range.
