Hi Everyone,

Having recently retired, the sensible one in the house suggested that the time was right to sell my 718 Cayman & the Mazda CX3 and plump for a single replacement - as usual her advice was heeded.

On 24th November I took delivery of my new Porsche Macan S in Volcano Grey. The car I bought was in stock at OPC Jersey with a few options I probably wouldn't have selected, but I have to say I'm mightily impressed.

Although I did consider & drive some other options, ultimately a Porsche offers something special.

Unfortunately since owning the new car the weather here has been fairly grim and I'm afraid I don't have any pictures of my new car in pristine condition to show off. So for now it's a Porsche library picture in my car's spec.

Best wishes to you all in 2021,

Tim

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your new car.

Given the island's speed limit you won't have many opportunities to explore the performance potential of the S.

Doesn’t need to, they will have to catch him on this first 😈 Welcome Tim, nice one 👍. Oh yes and the Macan 😉

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes, both the Macan S & the Street Triple need to get off the rock every so often.

Sadly this year has been a complete write off, but let's hope things improve is 2021.
