Good morning all and happy New Year.

Having enjoyed my 2 litre I’m lucky enough to have been able to upgrade without loosing too much money (a nice change from BMW ownership!).

We welcomed the attached to the stable a few weeks ago, fairly heavily optioned stock car from OPC Tonbridge, this time I’ve got air suspension within the mix - love it !

Congratulations, your ‘S’ looks fantastic! 👍. I’d be very interested to hear your opinion on the differences you’ve noticed between the 2.0 litre engine and the 3.0 litre, and the reason why you changed to the ‘S’ so soon after buying your 2.0 litre model?

Your Carmine S looks great! Congrats! :)

Was the 2.0 a Miami Blue car, by any chance...?? 🕵️‍♂️

Great looking car.

Your photo made me realise just how much difference there is between the front end of the S and GTS.

First time I've been able to compare both models in the same colour.

Thank you all, addresses the questions -

2.0 l to 3.0l l - Sounds much better and has a lot more go when joining fast moving traffic, fuel consumption is only about 10% more so all in all very happy with the change. I have a tendency to change cars often, the preceding 440 lasted a little longer than normal - 13 months. The dealer also did a very good deal !

Love the GTS, I’d not noticed until you mention it - but absolutely agree !

The 2.0 l was indeed Miami Blue

Congrats on the new car - you don't like subtle colours then

Did the Miami car have the pano roof?

Not based around Sussex are you - similar plated Miami car I would see locally to me relatively frequently

Ha ha - we do tend to go for the more ‘out there’ colours - the 440 was snapper rocks blue.

The Miami Blue one did have the roof, but didn’t use it very much so the lack of one on the new one wasn’t a deal breaker.

Over the boarder in Kent so likely not us albeit it’s been down to Bexhill a few times when we were allowed !

I can't think we have opened ours to be honest, just like the extra light it brings in but glad not an issue for you

There must be another one - I'm only 10 miles from the Kent border hence I wondered if you strayed although we wouldn't have let you whilst you were Tier 3 and we were 2

We must have similar tastes. I came from a 435d Snapper Rocks to a Carmine Red S too!
