Hi all,

New to the Porsche family, with a decent spec 2020 Macan S, after enough time with RWD M cars. Seems like a great forum and I look forward to reading and posting with you all.

Btw I’m in Central Scotland if there are any locals?

Always had a soft spot for the M2 but never got to drive one but did think the 240i that I got to thrash around thruxton was great fun so assume the M is that plus!

Yep, it was exactly that. Great fun in great conditions but cold or wet or need to carry something, made it a pain as a daily. Hence the Mac

Traction I did notice to be a problem in the latter generation turbo M cars in anything but perfect conditions

Once we're out of this situation, I hope to be local to you for a few days this year!
Can't think of a better place to run an engine in.

When I was in Pitlochry last year I saw a couple of Macans going through the village (a lovely Sapphire blue one, owned by someone on PCGB) and a few GT3s.
