Welcome along OP.
We our collecting our 2018 2.0 Macan this weekend. We currently have a 2015 SD which is a great engine, but less annual mileage and a few other things have meant we are looking to replace it for a newer petrol model and the 2.0 fits the bill perfectly.
Prior to the Macan SD we had an Evoque 2.2 Diesel and the Macan is much better in every way we have found.
Enjoy the new car
I also had the 2.2 Evoque a couple of cars back and loved that in a different way. Really didn't want to sell it but hey. The Porsche is in league of it's own though.
Anyway here are some pics of my Evoque:

The Evoque is a really comfortable drive, especially with all the tech. Glides over bumps even on standard suspension. My mrs’ even has a high res camera as the rear view mirror. It just doesn’t come close to even my 2.0 Macan for driver engagement.
In hindsight, we should have paired the Macan up with something a bit sportier rather than another small SUV. I’m sure as I approach the big 4-0 that a midlife crisis will kick in.
