Hi

I’m a new Macan owner, although in fact I’m not picking up the car until Monday. I thought members might be interested in what was a very quick buying process.

I’ve been researching for a while and last Tuesday at 4.30 I emailed a dealer about two low mileage demo cars. Unfortunately because of difficulties with supplies they aren’t selling them until December. Would I be interested in a cancelled order?
Spec came through at 7.30 that evening and I arranged a meeting the next day. Long story short by lunchtime I’d bought a brand new Jet Black Metallic, black leather Macan. Glass roof, Bose, PASM, PDLS lighting, 14 point seat adjustment. From first email to purchase was about twenty hours.
I traded in a 2014 Evoque 46,000 miles for a reasonable £15k which nearly seven years ago cost £34500 so I think thats a depreciation of 56%.
I’m told cars ordered now are expected December at earliest so I feel pretty lucky
Really nice, friendly, informal service at Porsche Burgess Hill. Roll on Monday.
I’ll be back on here for advice soon I suspect.

Thanks for the warm welcome, much appreciated.
It’s a 2 litre petrol engine and we picked it up yesterday and drove back down the M23 in torrential rain so not ideal.
After a seven year old Evoque it’s a pretty major leap in quality to say the least.
Now we have to learn our way round it, the Good to Know app seems clear and easy to use, we’ll see.

I Would like to hear your impressions. I am also moving from a 6 year old Evoque to a Macan. Waiting for the new MY22 release to place an order. Not sure yet to give the 2 litre or the S.
