I do not find your two specs very compatible. There are extras in your S that are not in the S eg better seats 14 way and sports exhaust and no memory seats on GTS . so I would claim the cost difference for GTS is more like £5k. I do not find the sports exhaust consistent with fitting Burmester sound system.

Personally, I would go with S a better looking and more comfortable car for someone who does high mileage.

Historically I low optioned GTS had depreciated less than a high specced S but there is no guarantee of this in future and better to buy the car you want than one chosen from others expectations.

.. meant to say, yes very good point about higher mileage - comfy seats and less harsh suspension does make good sense.
