Hello to the Forum!

New member here. Just took delivery of a 2015 Macan Turbo from Porsche Brooklands. 33k miles, Agate Grey, Espresso full leather, matt black RS wheels, Sports Chrono, Heated/Cooled seats/wheel etc.
Since delivery I've had the decals on the boot changed to black and had the rear windows tinted (for the children).

Having come from a Range Rover Sport which was massive, unreliable and expensive to run, I have to say I'd delighted with the Macan! It's a wonderful place to be, it drives superbly and I have faith in it's reliability!

Pleased to have found this forum. I hope to be an active member going forward!

Pics attached (from when I bought it)!

Does that mean they're not fans and don't want to be seen in a Porsche?

Never mind them, enjoy it!

We're on the same journey mate!
My RRS has broken down (again and again) and I have an order in for a Macan S.
I'll not touch another Range Rover - even if they double the number of fake plastic air intakes! :-)

Thanks for the welcome everyone! It’s so strange not having to go to the dealer every 3 months to have an “interim service”! Next visit due in July 2013! What are people’s thoughts on annual oil changes? Does anyone bother or just stick to the book (2 yrs) / service indicator? My Boxster is every 2 yrs but I generally do it annually regardless of mileage, but it’s 17 years old this year!

Hey Danny! What RRS did you have? Mine was an SDV6 (2016) and literally always needed an oil change. I was spending a fortune every 3 months on that and then the big service each year. It was costing nearly £2k plus tyres etc p.a! Mental. Ironically it’s now for sale at Lookers Land Rover as an Approved Used Car as I sold it directly to them and they’re advertising it as having 16k mile service intervals! No way!!
