Thought this was an interesting thread - think the OP may want to move back to sports car ownership ... https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1065097

Is there a hint of sarcasm there? Brian's a bit too saccharin or even Alan Partridge for my taste and the whole GB Club forum is soporific in comparison to this one!

plus one from me, lots of useful advice for any intended Scottish trips.

I just feel sad when someone decides to part with a good vehicle after about a year of ownership.

I have no idea about the Porsche Owners Club so not able to comment ... I didn't mind the read but from the get go I felt his heart wasn't quite in it, maybe he didn't have an extended test drive of the Macan before buying, so he was always hankering for 'thrill' of his past vehicles. I did like the the 'journey' as he discovered more of what the Macan was good at and what in his mind it maybe didn't quite live up to ...

Nope, still looking forward to picking up my Turbo!
I’ve had 3 911s over the years, and I suspect at some point I’ll get another. However, I’m really looking forward to getting the Macan - I think it will be a great fit for what I need it for.
