"These features are either standard or significantly cheaper on the GTS and adds up to about an additional £7.5k of extras that you need to add to the S. At that point the price difference between the two cars is just £4K"
Not wishing to rain on your parade but I got to over £9,000 worth of GTS Standard options if loaded onto an S. I would say a fully GTSque S would only be around £2,000 less than the real thing

Id love to see your spec with the gold wheels.GTB wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 6:05 pm I spent over a month comparing the two ( S & GTS) and on the configerator. Really ended up a simple decision for me to pay the extra for the GTS plus the extras I wanted than an S with lots more extras and ending up at almost the same if not higher figure. Obviously a personal choice and everyone is diffrent.
My Porsche code is below, order placed last week and I will not be changing anything

So Ive now spoken to another reviewer who drove a GTS with the standard sports air suspension and wrote up a review. Here is his comment from experience driving the car:OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 7:00 pm They are pretty much the same car with a few extra options, most of which I don’t actually want. The performance difference is negligible, they look identical but one costs a lot more for the sake of 2 extra letters, some bragging rights and suspension that is probably unusable on most British roads. Don’t forget the 2022 S has the same engine as the 2021 GTS. If you want a sports car you should probably buy a sports car rather than an SUV.
“Despite the 21s and summer tyres the ride is phenomenal, even over rough surfaces”
That’s two reviewers who have said the same thing now.
Easy choice for the gts for myself. The pcp route gives a gfv of around 6 or 7 k more than S. I really wanted sports exhaust (yes I'm 17 in my mind), the air suspension is free and no need to spend more on wheels. Still annoying the crayon is another 1k on top though.
The sports exhaust is a nice feature. Had cars without it and cars with it. My overall assessment is I had much more fun with it - irrespective of what others thoughtArmyaxl wrote: ↑Sun Sep 05, 2021 5:03 pm Easy choice for the gts for myself. Great point
I’d get the S if I was in that situation, rather than waiting.
My OPC only gets 1 GTS per month as opposed to the 4 S Models they get each month. It’s a scarce car hence the long lead time.
