not yet, but may be a good idea given the state of the roads.

Yes it was. But you can probably do better elsewhere. However diamond cut wheels can be very tricky to insure based on members’ comments in the past.

You can only really repair diamond cut wheels once so depends what they do after that - new wheel

I’ve had so many punctures on the 911 I wish I had the insurance ! Porsche won’t repair tyres either so it’s a new one !

He said that to me about the N rated tyres not being repaired. I’m not convinced it’s worth the £699 for 2 years, how likely is it,I’ll get 5 punctures in 2 years! I’ve said it now.

I’ve probably had 4 punctures in the 911 in two years

Each tyre minimum of £250…

I’m thinking of taking the tyre/alloy cover out when my Macan arrives. I have had my my X3 M40i with 21” run flats for around 18 months, in that time I have had 4 puncture’s, each tyre on the X3 was around £340-360 each!!

There’s definitely cheaper options. I’ve found alloy and tyre cover for circa £510 for 3 years total - this covers the diamond cut alloys and N rated tyres too. OPC policies will always be more expensive so worth shopping around.

Thanks. Can you say where? Should be getting my S in about 4-5 weeks so will be looking at taking this out ( along with Gap insurance as the car is on PCP so I don’t want to be caught short if anything unpleasant happens )
