Well, what a day. First things first, order has been placed for a Macan S.
I drove the 2.0 first which wasn’t to my taste both in spec and to drive, just not enough power for me and not quite special enough. Plus it was red!! Sorry any red owners.
The ride was quite good with the normal suspension and on the standard 20’s, not sure what it would be like on 21’s though. I was undecided on whether to spec the Bose upgrade this car had it and I personally don’t see it being worth the £800 so it’s a no from me.
18 way sports seats were excellent. I only spent about 40 minutes in the 2.0 as I just knew it wasn’t for me.
Then onto the GTS, had it for two hours and it only had 17 miles on the clock when I set off.
WOW, what a car that is, you GTS buyers are going to be very very happy. I personally wasn’t keen on the air suspension, a little too soft for my liking even in sport mode, lot better in sport + but then how often do you drive around in sport+?
I was undecided on the air suspension but now happy I wouldn’t need it, PASM will be enough for me.
Car was rapid, handling a dream what can I say! Sports exhaust sounded superb in sport and sport+ but not too intrusive in normal.
If I could convince the boss we needed a 70k suv one would be on order, but unfortunately I couldn’t so it’s an S for me.
Any questions and I’ll try to answer if I can.

Remember with Sports Chrono you can set an individual setting with the suspension in Sports plus and drive train in something else sport or normalSweetmeister wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 6:10 pm

Black is the only colour that hides the hideous front of the GTS!

Sounds like you made a good & logical choice, going for the S, after your test drives.
I’d order one in red!
On the above GTS, I think the normal red rear lights would look better than the ‘tinted’ ones.
