Following the good advice on this thread I've dropped the running boards added the black trim and comfort access. I looked at the 14 way seats but that changes the seat leather to all red, which is too much for me so I'll stick with the 8 way. I'll be the only driver so won't be changing seat positions much. Thank you all for your comments roll on March..The sale executive reckons full production will be back by Jan and my car should be built mid Feb. Just in time for a 22 plate. What words fit ??ZZ???

I’m sticking with 8 way on my gts but added driver memory package for £228 which gives memory for seats and mirrorsBluesnose1812 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:18 pm Following the good advice on this thread I've dropped the running boards added the black trim and comfort access. Do the GTS 8 way seats come with lumbar adjustment? The S and base don’t, which I think is a pretty major omission.Winryn wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:39 pmI’m sticking with 8 way on my gts but added driver memory package for £228 which gives memory for seats and mirrorsBluesnose1812 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:18 pm Following the good advice on this thread I've dropped the running boards added the black trim and comfort access. No but the gts I test drove had 8 way and were very comfortable for me. I’m under the impression they either fit you or they don’t. When I had a look on autotrader a couple of weeks back, 20 out of the 22 for sale (gts) had the 8 way seats and none had comfort it looks like 8 way must be fine for many and comfort almost seems like it might deter second hand buyers as they don’t have the gts style/lookOmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:46 pmDo the GTS 8 way seats come with lumbar adjustment? However when I had an s on order I did select the 14 way as this gave them full leather instead of fake leather and cloth and with the other extras seems like a great value option
I’d definitely stick with the 8 way if I was ordering a GTS. I really like the race-tex centres.Winryn wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:21 pmNo but the gts I test drove had 8 way and were very comfortable for me. I’ve actually selected the free leather centres/doors/armrest optionOmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:27 pmI’d definitely stick with the 8 way if I was ordering a GTS. See, we’re all different. I really like the fuzzy-felt look. Not 100% sure about it on the steering wheel though. Looks good but I’m not sure about the feel.Winryn wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:29 pmI’ve actually selected the free leather centres/doors/armrest optionOmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:27 pmI’d definitely stick with the 8 way if I was ordering a GTS. The standard GTS 8-way seats are superb. No adjustable lumbar support, but the seat support is excellent in the lumbar area. Have done several 200+ mile non-stop journeys and with absolutely no discomfort. The RaceTex seat finish is great for both hot and cold weather comfort too, but personally would not want it on the steering wheel as well.Winryn wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:21 pmNo but the gts I test drove had 8 way and were very comfortable for me. People are different shapes. The 8 way will well suit and fit some but not all. I would advise visiting an OPC and trying them all to find which suits the drivers to be of car best. Indeed with two drivers or more more "ways" may be needed.
Lumbar support adds 4 ways meaning the support offered can be moved in 4 directions so the support can be placed where it is needed for a particular individuals back. On the 8 way what lumber support offered is fixed

100% agree. I think ACC is proving to be the most contentious option but I think everyone agrees there are no “bad” seats and that we all have different needs. I really wanted the 18 way sport seats because they look cool and pretty much every car I’ve ever owned has sport seats. But when I tried them they really didn’t work for me. Mainly they were so uncomfortable getting over the side bolster getting in and out. My wife would definitely find it difficult. So for my needs the 14 way are the best option , but I still really like the 18 way and definitely like the fuzzy-felt centres, but can’t get them in the seat option I want.pmg wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 9:56 am People are different shapes.
