Sadly the begging and pleading over the phone till someone says yes is coming unless I get bad news about shipping this week.OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 12:48 pmI’d suggest calling them and letting us know how you get on. I did call them about a week ago and they were very helpful but ultimately said they couldn’t even provide a quote. However, the fact that registered cars are showing up on their website should at least provide them with all the details they need. They told me they should be ok by Nov but even my SE said everyone is struggling.BanZ wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 11:51 amI did try this with direct line on their website yesterday, it recognised the reg with the right engine size(just said Macan not Macan S) but after going through all the forms the system said they couldn’t quote. Have you had anymore luck or did you do it over the phone?OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Sat Oct 09, 2021 10:27 pm
also doesn’t recognise the reg for a couple of the cars shown on this website, so we know they are real but don’t show up if I try and search against them ( they do on direct line )
New member - Macan S Gen 3 due Friday
Good luck. There are a lot of us approaching a similar problem. Taking the edge off of having a new car a bit.BanZ wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 12:55 pmSadly the begging and pleading over the phone till someone says yes is coming unless I get bad news about shipping this week.OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 12:48 pmI’d suggest calling them and letting us know how you get on. I’ll let everyone know if I have any joy and with what company(s). I agree, is complicating the excitement of having a new car.OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 12:57 pmGood luck. I paid £326.49 with LV= for my gen 2 GTS. But it does depend on your insurance profile. I live in a rural area, but NFU are always one of the dearest.PorscheMack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:46 pm£390!! To insure a Macan? Wow, you must have over 100 years NCD to get that price

Actually I've just tried them but Gen 3 GTS not listed so tried the 2021 Turbo and surprised how reasonable the quote was Any idea when Gen 3 Vehicles will be listed on their site?Toria1118 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:52 pmMiddle aged mother of young kids probably helpsPorscheMack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:46 pm£390!!
