Hi All

I've been reading for a fair while to get an idea of the things others find useful in a spec and why. I have my own ideas of course, but it's been really useful in bumping up the price if nothing else...

This is my first new Porsche, and I'm coming from a 2019 Audi Q5 45 so quite a big leap in performance, although I've previously owned an S5 and TTS.

I've settled on http://www.porsche-code.com/PNP5VJ52 after a few revisions and put a deposit down in early August. Estimated delivery is sometime in Q2 near year, although that's so far away I think it's a guess at this point.

Thanks

Ordered 11th Aug 2021, Arrived OPC 7th Oct 2022, Collected 9th Dec 2022

I'll ask them if that's still accurate when I get the new order form to sign for the updated spec :)

I think it can only be accuratish when OPC's get their 2022 allocation details and even then it's pie in the sky speculation.

Welcome.

Our serial Porsche buyer Arif uses Bolton, maybe he can put in a good word for you?

It maybe worth you giving Porsche OPC’s a ring at Cheshire Oaks, Preston and South Lakes a call and see what they have to say. They are all owned by different Companies.

Bolton is part of the same group that own Wilmslow and the least I say about them the better.

Good luck with your many, many hours of Confuserator time that is yet to come.

Lovely car but don't de badge a GTS!!!!!!

You could sell the badge alone and buy a nice house!!!

You mean the many, many hours I've already spent to this point, right? :D

There can't be much left to add... surely... please no more. Never mind the OPC, the SO will string me up if I change it again! Although she did demand PDLS Plus for the adaptive lighting which we've used a grand total of one time on the current car, and ACC for the auto braking which she said she's found useful. I don't know if I should be worried about that last comment from her, or not.

I'm in no rush, it doesn't bother me if it takes a few months longer with Bolton than it would have taken elsewhere. The current car has plenty of time left on the finance, which I will be ending earlier than October 2023 when it's due to be changed, so it'll work out. I went with Bolton as it's close and easy to get to, the salesman we spoke with was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome which was important to me.
