Let's hope they don't push yours on any more! And they don't do the same to me. I have agreed with a value on my car with BMW for December, so either way its going! Ours will have the same birthday :D Where did your order yours from? Mines coming via Porsche Reading.
I got rid of my Boxster T in August and so I don’t want any further delays. I guess you got an early build allocation as Reading are the UKs largest dealer and are owned by Porsche GB . I got a base car that had been originally specced as a launch car for my supplying dealer Porsche Leicester but delays are being blamed on semi conductor shortages. With hindsight I could have held onto my Boxster as it has not depreciated much since August.

My only comment would be, have you driven a Macan with 21 wheels and no PASM or Air especially with regard to ride quality? Mind you if you coming from an X3 M40i on runflats................ ;) ;) I see they are now both back on the configurator for the base Macan.
Personally don't consider PASM / Air is required with 21" wheels. Try it, but as mentioned if you're used to M Sport suspension & RFT.... the Macan standard set up is better quality than that
+1. My last Macan SD had 21” wheels and no PASM and the ride was very good. However this time I have gone with the 20” S wheels as I like the look of them and the cost saving is quite significant.

Yeah quite possibly why I manged to get a slot! I was also told it was their last Macan build slot of the year! I just had a "heads up" email from my dealer saying "it is possible that all models with BOSE may now have an up to 6 week delay due to supplier delay, however my ETA hasn't changed yet but will be confirmed next week :( " Which will suck if it happens!

That looks very nice - enjoy

I'm sure you've looked - how much extra would a S been to that spec (aren't some things like bigger wheels cheaper to upgrade from an S than a base?)

Thanks, yeah I did have a look and it came in a smidge under £4k more for the S. Which I was tempted to do, but in the end I didn't feel I wanted to spend the extra money as my max budget was £60k and my wife already thinks I'm spending too much! Also these days I barely find anywhere to actually use the power I have at the moment (355hp in the X3). The other benefit to the base is that I can get it fairly soon, whereas with the S I would be looking at the summer before it would turn up and I'm an impatient man

Hi and welcome to the forum.

My only comment on your spec is to ask why you've specced the Sports Tips in Silver and not Black? With Black Roof Rails and window surrounds I'd have thought black exhaust tips would have continued the theme.

They match the wheels and seems to make sense on the configurator?

Thanks, As BanZ said, I was thinking they matched/complimented with polished wheels and also the other small silver details (lights, Porsche logo which I haven't blacked out etc...)

I have now added PASM though :D which I hope is a wise decision!

I think it is to be fair - I had a Gen 3 the other day with no air and 21s and I found the ride choppy at times (not BMW bad) but I was surprised

And therefore be fearful of 21s with no PASM

Any other GTS buyers still swithering between black RS Spyder and GT wheels? It's my last decision to make, and I cannot make up my mind. Both look great and I regularly change my mind between them.
