I went to collect my new Gen II yesterday (it was the showroom model) but OPC were not allowed to release it as Porsche had put a stop order on Macans and 911’s apparently - though the OPC could not find out why?? Some sort of recall so it could not be registered. Anyone know anything about this or experienced similar?

Don’t know anything about that. My OPC called me on Monday to say my new Macan had been built and would be with me in a few weeks.

Sometimes OPC (come to that most car manufacturers dealers) get extra discount on a showroom model, where as they contract not to sell it for a period of time normally around 6 months. could had been on such a contract.

No it was not that - I personally know some of the staff so they would have told me if that was the case - they are very transparent with the facts.

Yes it’s Swindon Simon - been dealing with the Lovett group for over 20 years.

This has happened before when the new test regime was introduced. Maybe there's a delay in getting "Certificates of Conformance" for Gen 3 models. Not sure why that would effect 911s though.

Noticed a 2019 S in Volcano with 21" Spyders for sale at a local Mazda dealership so had a look and it's a Branch Directors car with 18,000 on the clock. Nice car. They want £59,990. Put the registration number in WBAC and they offered £49,995. 🤔

Totally consistent prices, retail versus below auction as WBAC are just a provider of business for BCA.
