I counter that statement thusly; there is "float" with air and it made me feel car sick. Others on the forum have reported the same. So the very clear point here is that "some" find it floaty ( I agree its very much in the minority ) and some/most don't, so its one of those things you absolutely have to try for yourself. Pretty much all cars I've owned have had some sort of sports suspension, so its likely I'm just used to firm suspension (crashy in the case of BMW) and I actually like to feel the road rather than have the sensation artificially "smoothed-out"Tracky wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 10:00 am Your spec looks nice - obviously I am going to say it has bits missing and stuff you don’t need !
Re Air I had a loaner Macan to same spec as Mrs ie wheels /tyres etc back to back with hers when my 992 blew its turbo
This was for about a week and drove them both back to back.
The answer is the air car is a bit more comfortable but the non air wasn’t really bad but did suffer poor roads a bit more.
So a non air car isn’t at all bad with 21s but the air is just that bit better.
There is no float with air - I’ve had people that have historically suffered with car sickness in my car and at no point have they complained
Air or Bose??
Not that you need this yet but the centre of any badge fitted is always centred to the “S” in the PORSCHE logo above it (which is also central to the wiper rotor. The bottom of the lettering aligns to the fold in the rear hatch below the tail lamps. The gen 3 although not shown here, is no different .

Quick question…
If you select comfort (PASM) but a low ride height in air, will it “remember” this every time you get in the car? Or would you need to select low ride height every time?

Thanks Tracky - it’s more about the look of the car really for me, but I know there will be untold handling benefits (yes I am that shallow )

Low doesn’t make you feel like you are in an suv anymore. Depends if you like the high ride feeling/looking down on people.
It’s more about the visual look for me I.e. reducing the insane gap between wheel and wheel arch…OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 11:56 amIts 15mm, right? Does it really make that much difference ( honest question, not a contradiction)

Not sure of how much drop but you do definately feel the difference inside the car. I prefer the look outside higher up personally.OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 11:56 amIts 15mm, right? Does it really make that much difference ( honest question, not a contradiction)
