For the first 5 years of my driving career I carried a large King Edwards in the boot.

Not so sure prices are fallingEDZ wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 12:58 pmNot sure what research you have done but: There are currently over 220 Macan's for sale in OPC's alone, of which over 70 are 2.0. They have one that is under a year old 2,900 miles listed at 56.5k. Base Macan's have the shortest waiting time, apparently around 3/5 months, as you say even specing it to 60k they have a brand new Gen 3 model greater power and a few more standard extras, Add to this that prices are falling I personally would be biting the hand off the independent and getting the money in the bank if I were selling. That's IMO for what its worth.Caps4444 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 12:01 pmThese sites are offering too low, indies have offered 55.5, which I dismissed out of hand…probably could push to 56.
But I’m ideally looking for more. I Won’t be doing more than 100-150 a month, so will still be in decent condition. Anyway let’s see what the SOR agreement looks like….
My Gen2 up by approx £2K with WBAC in the last 3 or 4 weeks so I don't see it with Macans.
£2K less than at it's peak though.
Sale or Return is less risk for the OPC as if the used prices drop they're not out of pocket, you are.
In the showroom I went to was a 911 GT2 with a price of ~£330k, and I commented to the SE about how that's a lot of money to just have sat around in the showroom, to which he explained about Sale or Return and how they wouldn't take the risk on a car or that value.

I'm fairly sure it wasn't red, I don't remember exactly but a darker green or black springs to mind. It was also a GT2 RS, not a GT2, the price difference between the two is remarkable.

Although in this case, car won’t be given to dealer. Will just be advertised.Lanmate wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 8:10 pm Sale or Return is less risk for the OPC as if the used prices drop they're not out of pocket, you are.
