Just select “exterior trim package with gloss black” it’s the last one at the bottom of the list under “exterior” segment and you will see what I mean 😉
Yes, I do, maybe a glitch in the configurator, I put more credence in members posted pics. Either way needs to be nailed down! 👍

Did you ask for the white front grill inserts as should be gloss black on configurator? I ask because car looks great and wondered how it came about?
I think you are referring to the left and right hand side intercoolers that are fitted to the S and GTS. On the base there is a black blanking panel. They may look white but are aluminium. Like 718 and 992 models they are exposed and liable to be punctured by flying stones which is why some 718 and 992 owners ( particularly in the US) fit grilles although by doing so potentially invalidate the factory warranty.

Understood Mark but I am talking about the last option available on “exterior” (see previous post) - if you select that you will see what I mean.

“Exterior trim package painted in exterior colour with gloss black”

Quite explicit in its description from the configurator??

Actually if you click on the info button next to this option there is a helpful animation to show exactly what is painted and what is gloss black…

That 2018 thread was an interesting read. I wonder if the radiators are manufactured any differently now or still as vulnerable. I discussed the rads in front of the wheels with a few OPC techs who said they had never encountered problems with them but I must admit they still look exposed and i will investigate possible mesh covers for them. As discussed by others they are frequently fitted to 911s and track cars and I cannot see how they would cause warranty issues.

I would think that the additional rads on the Macan will still be vulnerable albeit slightly less vulnerable than on say a 718 or 992 due to the Macan rads being higher. Owners that have fitted mesh grills have found that they can’t get the extended warranty as the modification is not porsche approved.

There was a company in Cannock, West Midlands that were looking for a donar Macan that they could make some grills for. A gent (Brian_Innes) on Porscheclubgb was looking to get some for his and contacted the company.
Think it was in his long owners thread - https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1065097.
I did consider it but just haven't got the time to drop mine off and then go and pick it up.

Sorry to hijack thread.
