Greetings!

Been lurking for a while until I had actually committed to the purchase, but I have just placed an order for a new GTS so thought I would dive in and say hello!

Well aware of the lead times on these, but am happy to wait for it. Been speccing Macan's for a long time on the configurator, so was quite well informed going into it all. Being my first Porsche, it was a very nice experience all round.

Anyway, here's my spec for those that are interested! :D

Jet Black Metallic
21" GT wheels in gloss black
19" collapsible spare wheel
Extended black leather
18 way sports seats
Roof rails in black
Sideblades body colour
Sport Chrono
PDSL+ headlights
Dimming mirrors
Privacy glass
Reverse camera with surround view
Lane change assist
Heated windscreen
Heated GT steering wheel
Storage package
Porsche crest on centre armrest
Carbon interior package
Bose speakers

I may add the carbon illuminated doorsills.... but got plenty of time to mull it over

Welcome Pstrat.
I notice no pan roof (which is absolutely fine) but black on black May well create that “inside of a wetsuit” feeling without extra light…

I hear this a lot but I have black leather interior without a pan roof and personally I think it’s fine(everything is subjective). I really like the interior and have no regrets over the pan roof at all - and without the risk of pan roof leaking :)

+1. Agree completely. All four of my Porsches have had black interiors, with no sunroof. Absolutely fine! :)

Looks great Banz no shade intended (or pun 🙄). I like black, just saying make sure you do cos there’s a lot of it 👍

Welcome to the forum. As you say definitely more than plenty of time to change that spec at least 500 times  over the next 18 months or so. I'm now well over 8 months in and ordered before the orders went crazy and still no date.

Yeh, pondered the pan roof a lot. Seen quite a few of the Python green GTS's on the reviews with no pan roof and thought they all looked fine inside. Have had cars with black leather and black headlining and granted wasn't a Macan but never complained about the light. When I did have a sunroof the blind was kept closed 90% of the time so don't think i will miss it.

As you say, be plenty of time to give it some more thought. The Mrs isn't a fan of different colour stitching, alas, hence why didn't go for a GTS interior. But i did want the extended leather to add to the luxury feel.

No shade taken(if that’s what the kids say?!) as with all these things it’s personal preference and sitting in an actual car is always my best advice - I was just challenging a commonly voiced opinion on this forum :)

You're going for a very similar spec to the one I've just taken delivery of.

I have the pano roof but most of the time keep the blind closed as I like the snug feel. Your dealer may say it's very helpful for resale, but that doesn't mean you have to spec it.

Have got crayon stitching on the extended leather, and have to say it's really good - and makes a nice impact in the cabin vs the all black I had before. However I also appreciate the happy wife / happy life principle.
