Car is arriving at my OPC today. They need 5 working days to prep it  so with that and work commitments, I'm pencilled in to collect next Friday afternoon :D

Now to figure out all the admin side of things: insurance, GAP insurance, best way to get the money to Porsche, other bits (?)...

This is going to be a VERY. LONG. WEEK.

Ensure you shop around, rather than buying insurances from OPC, including gap, wheel, tyre etc. These are big commission earners for Porsche.

Check insurance premium from NFU

The used to offer Gap Insurance as inclusive, possibly it is still included hence if it is it probably is a pretty good cost effective solution.

BTW
If you are wondering about the comments I have a Bee in my Bonnet about buyers who do not include a Spare Wheel in their spec. as I had a flat in a very remote area with no mobile signal and could well have been stuck without a spare. An inflator kit would not have sealed the puncture, right now I am resisting posting the image.

WTF, I know Tracky and a fair number of the members like to see it so here it is

Sorry !!!!!!

ALA for gap insurance (see forum header) although some insurers will cover first two years within the car cover policy. When settling payment for the car, if it’s cash most but not all take Switch. If they do it’s the easiest transaction process.
