I went to Hampton court flower show lat Saturday but could easily have been a Pork meet given how many in the car park!
Saw a Gen2 Saphire Macan with those exact wheels and was struck by how awesome they look in the metal.
Enjoy your new (to you) Macan it looks fab ๐Ÿ‘

Great colour and spec.

A collapsable spare wheel is an option that you do not list, so do check if one is there. If not buy an extra can of sealant as a just in case.

As for Dashcams, there are a few threads already which will be of help to you regarding where to make the connections.

You will not miss Sports Chrono, it only very marginally improves performance.
Thanks for the dashcam advice - I'll definitely be looking for info on where to tap the power from safely.

It does have the 18" collapsible spare wheel -- I was never happy running around in my TT with a can of sealant, so was happy to find the spare was on the list. I must admit I didn't realise it had one though until the sales guy pointed it out.

I have to say that the sales guy who dealt with me in Chester (Simon) was superb. Can't fault him at all. Not pushy. Well up on his cars (not the norm!) and really going out of his way to make my purchase go smoothly and throwing in free bits and pieces along the way. I've spoken to a lot of Porsche sales guys in different garages over the last couple of years while I was searching for a car and he was by far the best.

I can't PM yet (only one post!) but the vehicle is still on the Chester Porsche website as I only signed the papers today:

https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/det ... rship=6636

There aren't any proper photos as I nabbed it before they'd even vacuumed it :D

They didn't quite give me what I wanted for my Audi TT Quattro p/x price, but dropped the cost of the car to make up the difference (which I was surprised about given the Porsche approach to haggling).

Many thanks for the information - that is a great car with a great spec and gives me a good guide :)

Looks like if all goes well, handover will be this coming Thursday at the end of the day. That gives me precious little time to drive it - we're off on our hols on the Friday in the early hours! I'll just have to watch it for two weeks on the drive via my phone and CCTV :/

Oh - and Tracky - I agree about the wheels!

The Spyders are nice, but yours are easier to clean I bet.

I GOT IT!

IMG_6897.jpg

I've only had a couple of hours of driving it so far, but it feels perfect.

Now I have to wait two weeks as going on a badly-timed holiday tomorrow morning :-(

On the plus side I got a load of gifts from my sales guy - a cool looking Porsche flask, two pens, two keyrings, bottle of bubbly, set of rubber car mats, Porsche wash sponge, touchscreen cleaner & cloth (something tells me I've not exactly been good at negotiation on the price of this car!) When I bought my last car -- a brand new TT-- all I got from the sales guy was a scowl after my 26% discount on list.

Will post more photos to the gallery when I'm back.
