After waiting a year (largely my choice), I picked up my new Crayon S a couple of weeks ago and am just getting round to posting photos. Handover at Leicester was special (thanks Emily), just slightly soured by Lloyds Bank's security measures. We were pleased to receive bubbles, special cupcakes and gifts of leather key fobs, umbrella, insulated mug, desk photo, business card holder, air freshener, a tank-full of fuel and the footwell/boot rubber mats negotiated. Front and rear dash cams fitted from the get-go.

Really impressed with the car so far, particularly the ride and handling - it feels so planted. Coming from an Evoque (with its low-speed electrical assistance), the heavy steering and pedal pressure took me by surprise - more than I remembered from the test drive, but has already become familiar.

The car is booked in with the detailers next week for wash, full decontamination, single-stage enhancement and ceramic coating (Angelwax Nebula Graphene), wheels (Angelwax Legacy) and glass (Angelwax Exodus). Should look great for a break in the Lakes the following week.

That looks a really nice car- congratulations and I hope you have many safe and fun miles. Freebies certainly seem to have ramped up since I picked up my Macan S from Guildford almost 6 years ago and received 2 key fobs!

You did well with the freebies

The heavy steering is because you did not spec PS+, check the Porsche Tequipment site as it may be available as a retrofit, its only a software code.

Welcome Simon.

Congratulations!

As for freebies, I got two keys fobs - which is two more than my wife got when she picked up her 991 a few years back.

Looking at the rear view of your Macan, the off-side tail light doesn't appear to be working - and is there a fault in the strip along the back?
