My wife's BMW X1 has served her well over 7 years since new but now it's over 100k miles we looked for something which could also be kept in extended warranty the longest.

She went for a used Gen 2 Macan S with 22k miles from Porsche Wolverhampton. 20 options, including PASM, 14-way seats, 75ltr fuel tank, satisfied all of our tick list.

I've had my 981 Cayman for 8 years and was almost going to p/ex it but just couldn't do it. What else would I buy!?

We collect the Macan tomorrow. Yes, we both like silver!...

Nice to see a nice bright colour instead of boring Black or Grey, Silver doesn't show the dirt so much either.

The current Mrs B (a retired art teacher) is the colourist in our family, so I have no input when it comes to anything arty farty. I wanted Dolomite, she didn't.

So we both drive black cars because "silver is boring - half the cars on the road are silver"

What is the least popular car colour in the UK in 2023?

At the opposite end of scale, the least popular car colours in the UK are:

Maroon
Pink
Cream

…so that’s copper Ruby metallic, Ruby star Nero and Crayon! 😳
