What Col has just put up with his two consecutive posts is priceless information and should be made a sticky.

Indeed, you could probably delete 90% of this forum and replace it with that.

All you or anyone else need do with it is tinker it for personal preferences.

And tinker you will. LOL

Welcome
to the forum. Speccing the Macan can be a real challenge - there are
just so many tempting options - but as someone who's just taken the
plunge himself, I can tell you that the advice you'll from these guys is
absolutely invaluable.

Good luck, and I hope you find your journey as enjoyable as mine has been. Thumbs Up

Welcome Tim. The advice here is incredibly valuable. I starting trying to spec an SD with a target max price of £55k. I ended up spending £60k after input from the forum but the extra was well spent & wouldn't change the options I chose. The car feels special inside and to drive. Good luck.

Welcome Tim

As you can already see people here are anally retentive about he Macan and Porsche in general! There are no rights and wrongs when speccing a car for yourself so long as it is what you want. However, there are lots of people here who have learnt from previous experience and are on to the 2nd or 3rd Macans and their experience is invaluable.

Bear in mind what some folk consider "essential" you may find unnecessary or downright uncomfortable so don't take everything as gospel!

That being said £10k ish in options does seem to be about the standard mark.

Have fun being talked into spending way more than you expected LOL

So is that "don't be a pillock and ignore my advice" or "don't be a pillock (comma) and ignore my advice" ??
