An R8 and a macan! That'll make for an excellent driveway!

And remember to change the key colour with an after market side blade! It really sets up the drama for when you pick it up heading for the car!

.... and a red key fob! Even though I have a VG car.

So I took the plunge some months ago and ordered my first Porsche which is a Macan GTS!
Cant wait to take it into Europe!!

What a spec, the stuff of dreams. Your first Euro trip should be back to the factory, as I have just done, or is it too late for a factory collection? They do up to 30 a day.

I looked at Factory collection but at £1700 quid I thought I'd just take it back via the nurburgring for a trip!

Have got Carmine Red key covers on order from Amazon at a grand total of £8 odd quid. Im not holding up much hope but will see how we get on!

I'll make sure I get some pictures of the R8 with its stablemate when the GTS arrives

I'm impressed with getting to £17k without upgrading the wheels :) Happen to think 20" wheels is a good choice mind.

I knew someone would pick up on no pano roof! I cant bear sunroofs so stuck to my guns on it much to the dealers displeasure!

I love the spyder wheels in black and they match the R8 wheels very nearly, if they done them in 21" I would have had them 👍

I spec'd no pano too.
Not a straightforward decision.

But, I never used it on previous Macans - because I like the cosy feeling of being in a slightly darker cabin. It does benefit head room for adults, and my friends are tall. Also, I didn't see the point of sticking 40Kg in the roof - since it is a GTS version... Yes, it could limit appeal for re-sale a little, but then you can ask £1000 less for the car and negate that aspect to some degree.
- Any other model than a GTS though, and I'd spec the pano.

IMHO...

£1700 to collect the car yourself and save them the trouble of shipping it??

What next? Supermarkets where you select, scan and bag yourself?

My local Shell has an old boy who will fill up for you. I'd rather do it myself but after making the effort to walk over to my car I felt obliged to let him do it and I gave him a pound!
