I am expecting to collect my SD from Dick Lovett, Bristol in a couple of weeks time.
They have offered the Lifeshine protection for £599 which I have declined but can anybody comment on how well their car was presented with just the standard dealer new car valet?
Am I doing the right thing?

Lifeshine for £599, that has to be a £599 Rip-Off.

Audi included it for free and also provided FOC an Autoglym kit c£50 worth of bottles of their products etc.

£250 would be a more realistic figure if you must go this route.

Please read the .....washing and detailing your Macan.......thread for more advice

If you are going to get the car Pro detailed you want the OPC to do nothing at all to the vehicle other than remove the plastic sheets.

I've had 2 from Bristol and the presentation was perfectly adequate.
It all depends how "fussy" you are and how you intend to look after the car subsequently.
The above thread referenced by Col is full of detail (no pun intended) and contradictory opinions

Thanks Colin.
So I assume you did not take Lifeshine?
Did you have any additional detail/ protection afterwards?

I'm not big fan but mine was life shined at Bristol, it was nicely done but at £499 included 3 valets which means a courtesy car, Caymen 718 this week for me, I was also told that if something was spilt on seat or carpet they would clean it if it did not wipe off and claim for me, that salesman is not there now so not sure if I believe that.

Mine will do £20k first year so clean is enough for my needs, I know others are more passionate about looking after the finish.
