Second Porsche!!
+1 ^
I actually prefer it to the more flashy options. I bet that rides super smooth on air too. I think you found a decent car there, all the used ones at our OPC are loaded full of mostly pointless crap with a price tag to match. For example there's a 2016 S for no less than £70K with options like Aluminium gear selector, Porsche crests on everything and pretty much every external trim option. Now I'm thinking who would seriously consider paying £70K for a used S?
Yes, it's really smooth. I just really wished that the previous owner didn't confuse the Lane Departure Warning with the Lane Change Assist when picking the options. LDW is pretty much useless, but LCA is a nice visual backup to the look over the shoulder.
I would have liked a black window trim as well - chrome is a bugger to keep from looking tarnished.

(LDW was standard from memory)
+1 (or is it 2) on the clean " ordinary" looks. You seem to have landed a very good value car

Thanks.
Interior photo, where all of the 'black' options were ticked. Oddly, during a month's ownership, I've never driven it in the dark. I have no idea how well the headlights light the road or whether the PDLS goes around corners as nicely as my old E350. I don't even know how the ambient interior lighting looks (if there's any at all - there's no 'comfort lighting' option ticked).
The green thing in the door pocket is a first aid kit. Just seems a more practical place to put it than in the boot.

My current car has LDW as standard and I just switched it off as default - totally useless IMO. Also agreed on window trim, I'll be ticking the black option there, which is actually a very cheap option compared to most.

Looking good, Pete!Pete wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 7:28 am Photos from this morning. I had to stand out in the rain to take these... Hopefully these give a better impression of what 18s look like.
First photo is with the air springs set to 'Low'. Second photo is after the air has settled on parking up.

With regards to the wheels, I'm afraid that I am a sucker for big rims. Went for biggest (21") on my Macan and my Panamera. Also got biggest wheels on previous cars including Evoque and Scirocco. And the car makers must think that big wheels are attractive to us, as most concept cars etc have very large rims (often 22" or more). Shows how times have moved on. 15" wheels used to be considered huge. I thought I was King of the Road when I upgraded my BMW 316 to 15" alloys with low profile 205/50 tyres

That is a good look! Also saw a BMW 2002 with small rims on TV this week and that looked good too.
