That is a very nice spec. Everything you need and a bit more.
If it's Pre registered to the deale should be able to get at a reasonable discount....
Either way will be a fab car.

Hi Swarwick007, Just back from a 2000 mile European trip in my SD. Drove it in Sport the whole way and no problem with acceleration on any road. Surprisingly, it was great fun through the Hahntennjoch Pass. With tight corners and short straights, the torque of the diesel was great and the sports exhaust helped with some noise. That said, after the Porsche factory tour and museum, still hankering after a 911 alongside the Macan!

Ps. I learnt at the factory tour that the senior mgt at Porsche have told staff that they must pronounce Macan 'Machahn'. Apparently a high profile Indonesian guest has corrected them as Macan as previously pronounced actually means house or meal!

I see the spec does not have Sports Chrono. See if they will add that in - Regardless of what others say, it does make a huge difference on the diesel, esecially when overtaking on fast A roads.

Hi, After a week of ownership i can say we are really enjoying the macan!!!! - its comfortable, fast enough, (thanks for the tip @col lamb) paddles are good for motorways when that bit of extra uumph is required, of course, it does not have the engine tone of a petrol that im used to with the 911, but i can tell you all... am thoroughly enjoying the MPG!!! especially chairing those conference calls like im sat inside a hotel room instead of sounding like im sat on the wing of a fighter jet to the participants.

so far so good! - does exactly what it says on the tin.

So that's Machahn and not Mackarn as I've heard it pronounced on TV, YouTube, Porsche events etc? Somehow I think I'll stick to Macan.

It is strange that Porsche mid way through a car's life have only just learnt how to pronounce it properly, but when in Stuttgart, they were all pronouncing it with the 'ch' as in chimney sound in the middle.
