Hi all
This forum exchange has been brilliant at helping me choose my first new Porsche. 3 months deliberation (in Abu Dhabi working) and I've now come up with:
PJUSQU77
I should be ordering this on Monday for delivey in late July or early August - so looking forward to that.
Many thanks to all the contributors who have helped me become knowledgable to ask the right questions.
Andy
Hi from a new owner
Thanks all,
After much consideration, we have locked down the same spec, but agate rather than sapphire and added the flashy wheel centres.
Delivery on 28 July, our wedding anniversary, so that's nice and the dealer has done a really good deal on price reduction per month by reducing the cost by £1800 - Yes! Given the stories of no bartering between dealers I was surprised too and I really didn't have to work hard for it either, it was really meant to be!
So I have around 6 weeks to wait and then look forward to only my second new car, ever.

Welcome. That's a nice, reasonably priced spec. You'll love it when you collect it. Your wedding anniversary is also right by my birthday!
I wonder if the discount is because they are struggling to shift diesels. I'd be surprised, as the SD Macan is still a fabulous car, but would love to know why Porsche are suddenly offering discounts.

I believe SD is in an oversupply situation now. Mine had a selection of new ones in stock when I last visited. I wonder if they will shift production to petrol models.
