Hi from a new owner
This is more likely....despite the freer supply I can't see that sort of "discount".....hopefully

Agree with Sid and Paul that the £1,800 is more likely a 'finance incentive' or tweaking of interest rate/APR rather than a pure cash discount on the purchase price.
I don't think that the word 'discount' appears in the Porsche dictionary.

Unless they discount your arguments for a better trade in price!Wing Commander wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2017 11:05 pm Agree with Sid and Paul that the £1,800 is more likely a 'finance incentive' or tweaking of interest rate/APR rather than a pure cash discount on the purchase price.

Maybe Andy can fill us in with regards to what form the £1,800 'discount' took...

Ok
Maybe the purists will enlighten me on the actual here, but in simple terms same car at both dealers and one is £36 a month less and I don't pay the first year tax and registration. How they achieved this I really am not too sure. I assume the GFV will be what it will be and so many have said the GFV is expected to be higher, well - live dangerously and take a risk I say.. I'm happy and dare I say this, looking forward to my wedding anniversary ha ha.

So you have agreed a deal based on the monthly finance contribution without knowing the interest rate, final value or total cost to purchase..?cat5326 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 12:03 am Ok

Enjoy your anniversary! I'd be inspired to ask my wife for a Cayman for our anniversary if there was any chance she wouldn't laugh at me...
